Jaralee Aby, age 86, of Glendive passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 surrounded by her family at Morningstar Senior Assisted Living in Billings.

Jaralee was born on November 20, 1929 in Haxtun, Colo. where she grew up during the Great Depression. She married Eugene Aby on January 6, 1951. Jaralee was a devout Christian. Her strength and wisdom came from her strong belief in God. She always found the positive and saw the miracles from God even when times were tough. She dedicated her life to her family.

Jaralee enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, sewing, golfing, ceramics and was a wonderful cook. She was a life master of Bridge. Jaralee enjoyed fantasy football and loved decorating for the holidays. She loved hosting gatherings with family and friends. Her life revolved around her family whom she loved dearly.

Jaralee is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gene; three daughters, Tammy (Ken) Lunde, Jody (Marc) Applegate and Gina (Casey) Thiel; son, Bart (Abby) Aby; thirteen grandchildren,  Jason (Julie), Lance (Caitlin), Levi, Markala (Chris), Kelly (Molly), Kyle (Becky), Craig (Megan), Cassie (Josh), Tiffany (Andrew), Ashley, Whitney, Eli and Alyse; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Family received friends on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Glendive. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Glendive. Interment will follow in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive.  Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting  www.stevensonandsons.com.
