Clifford Gayle Lewis, 86, of Huntsville, Ark., died October 3, 2016 at the Northwest Medical Center of Springdale, Ark.
He was born January 27, 1930 at Iowa Park, Texas, the son of Hubert Isaac and Ruby Altha Combs Lewis. He was an oilfield truck driver, a member of Christ Lighthouse Church and a Teamster. He had worked in the oilfields of N.D., Mont., Wyo. and Ala. and loved telling truck stories about his days in the oilfields.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Harmon Milford Lewis, Howard Lewis, Ivan Lewis and Sidney Lewis; and by an infant sister.
Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dean and Carolyn Lewis of Boise, Idaho and Paul Lewis of Billings; one daughter, Sharon Lewis of Boise, Idaho; one stepdaughter, Delma Reiner of Boise, Idaho; the mother of his children, Evelyn Lewis of Boise, Idaho; his companion, Flo Easley of Huntsville, Ark.; three grandsons, Tyler Losleben of Phoenix, Ariz., T. J. Losleben of Billings and Joe Losleben of Globe, Ariz.; four granddaughters, Amber Lewis, Mikaela Hill and Nicole Lewis, all of Boise, Idaho and Angie Losleben of Polson, Mont.; and two great-granddaughters, Alexa Thacker and Olivia Thacker, both of Boise, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Reverend Les Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in the Combs Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Ark.
