Denny D. Minder

Denny D. Minder passed away August 1, 2017, in Forsyth. 

Denny was born July 14, 1936 to Thelma and John Minder in Sisseton, S.D. 

He graduated from high school in 1954, from McMinnville High School. Denny was a US Army veteran, having been honorably discharged on February 28, 1958. Denny married Norma. To this marriage was born daughters, Kim and Dana, and son, Rick. They later divorced. On June 17, 1978, he married Dorothy.

Denny started work on the Milwaukee Railroad, in Harlowton. After the Milwaukee closed, he transferred to BNSF in Glendive, where he retired in 2001. 

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Kim Kolander and Dana Rivera; step sons, Joe, Carl and Cal Wester; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Rick. 

Denny’s family and friends are all Honorary Pallbearers.

A funeral service will be held Monday, August 14, at 11 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth is assisting the family with these arrangements and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
