William “Bill” Howard Green, age 62, of Circle, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Billings.

A luncheon celebrating the life of Bill will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Circle Country Market in Circle. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Bill was born on May 19, 1955 in Saginaw, Mich., to parents William and Doris (Ciesielski) Green. He was raised and educated in Michigan, graduating from Akron-Fairgrove High School with the class of 1973. On September 28, 1974 he married Barbara Sue Miller in Sebewing, Mich., and to this union two children were born. Bill worked various jobs in Michigan until 1980 when he moved his family  to Glendive, where Bill worked in the oil field until 1985. He then started his career in the insurance business, and worked for the same company for 32 years. The company went through many name changes before it became HUB International, where Bill worked until the time of his passing.

Bill enjoyed hunting, camping at the lake and fishing, having participated in several fishing tournaments. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, late night “Board Meetings” at the tavern, cooking and he even  cooked for several events. Bill enjoyed all sports and played golf and bowled in his free time. Bill’s biggest passion in life however, were his grandchildren. He cherished all the times he spent hunting and fishing with them and you could count on him being their biggest fan in the crowd during their sporting events.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandson, Brock Loudon.

Bill is survived by his wife Barb Green, of Circle; his daughter Bridget and Colby Loudon of Circle; his son Willy and Candace Green of Circle; his grandchildren Bryce and Cierra Loudon, and Kayla, Corbin, and Cooper Green; his sisters Deb Green of Vancouver, Wash., and Sandi and Ron Amend of Akron, Michi.; brother Marty and Cyndi Green of Vancouver; all of his in-laws of the Miller Family; and several nieces and nephews.
