Carole Haas

Carole Haas, long-time resident of Glendive, passed away on November 27, 2017 in Surprise, Ariz.

Carole was active in a number of clubs and organizations in Glendive including Zonta, Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority, the Republican Woman’s Club, Cottonwood Country Club and the Congregational church.  

Carole hosted two live, local television programs on KXGN in the 1960s, The Afternoon Mixer and Cartoon Carnival. She was a business owner and operated the A1 Cleaners and the Bernina Sewing Center for many years. Carole stayed active in retirement working as a teaching assistant at Jefferson School. 

Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; and her parents, Henry and Ida Klope. 

She is survived by her sons, Jim Haas of Goodyear, Ariz., David Haas of Avondale, Ariz. and Steven Haas of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Haas, Andrew Haas and Allison McIntosh; and great-grandchildren Karson and Maxwell Haas.

Funeral services and burial will be in Glendive on a date to be determined.
