Robert C. Rein passed away on December 6, 2015 at the Billings Clinic Hospital.
Robert “Bob” was born on June 2, 1938 to Carl Rein and Emma Haffner Rein on the farm in Sidney.
Bob grew up and went to school in Sidney. On December 29, 1957 he married Marguerite Schwenke. They farmed west of Glendive and had 4 children: Robert D. Rein of Great Falls; Stephen (Lezlie) Rein of Tees, Alberta Canada; Tana (Bill) Madill of Billings; and Darin (Tesa) Rein of Laurel; and 8 grandchildren.
Bob and Marguerite moved to Conrad in 1987 and then to Great Falls in 1995. He delivered fuel, propane and fertilizer for Farmers Supply in Conrad. He drove for CHS, High Noon and Riverview Trucking (Town Pump) hauling fuel and then retired in 2011.
He loved his family very much. He was active in CB Radio and Ham Radio (WB7QZE), radio controlled airplanes, tractor pulling, hunting, fishing, archery and target shooting at the gun range.
Surviving him are: his wife, Marguerite; his sisters, Marilyn (Elmer) Frank of Lidgerwood, N.D., Beverly (Roddy) Reuther of Terry and his brother Doug (Caryn) Rein of Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Emma Rein.
