Robert William Schieno was born on April 26, 1972, in Kansas City, Miss., to Bill and Randie (Lundeen) Schieno. He was raised and educated by his mom and step-dad Ray Cullinan in Glendive. Robert began working on the oil rigs in his early 20’s. He worked exceptionally hard and took pride in the work he did. In 1998, Robert began a new journey and enrolled at Helena Technical College. The following year he transferred to Bismarck State College, where he graduated in May of 2002 with a degree in Electronics. In September, Robert married Heather Pepping and welcomed her daughter, Alyson Nicole. They lived in Bottineau, N.D. where Robert worked at Turtle Mountain Manufacturing and Heather, for Bottineau High School. The following year, they made their home in Dickinson, and in 2005, Josie Jean was born. Robert was a proud father who loved to take the girls camping and fishing–fishing was his true passion. Following their divorce, Robert continued to work in the Williston area. He and fiancé, Gina Kingstad welcomed Vance Robert on January 17, 2014. He was so excited and proud to have a son. He loved his kids and worked hard to provide for them. Robert had a huge heart and gave unconditionally to those in need. From riding motorcycles to rollercoasters, Robert enjoyed the rush of anything fast. His laughter was contagious and his stories were the life of any conversation. He will be deeply missed.
