Lynn Dale Haidle went to be with His Savior and Lord after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and cancer, surrounded by his wife, Bonnie, of 50 years and his loving family.  He was 72 years old.

He was born September 8, 1943, in Terry to his loving parents, Bill and Florence Haidle. Lynn grew up on the family farm near Fallon and graduated from Terry High School in 1961. He graduated from Bozeman with a degree in Ag Engineering. Lynn and Bonnie were married on June 25, 1966 in Glendive. They moved to Peoria, Ill. where Lynn took a job with Caterpillar Tractor Works. In 1967, they returned to the family farm and Lynn, along with his dad and brother, took on the monumental task of establishing the first irrigation system on Fallon Flat which is still operating today.  During that time, Lynn & Bonnie raised two sons, Jeff and Jerry.

Lynn loved his family, farming, golfing, skiing and had a great sense of humor and wit. He lived his life to the fullest, leaving an example of hard work, leadership in agriculture, never-ending love for his family, grace towards others and faith in the Lord. He will be greatly missed.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Florence Haidle; his sister, Ethel; and brother, Irvin.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Jeff (Renata) and grandchildren Connor and Tessa, son, Jerry (Niki) and grandson Carson, all of Billings; sister Valda Jones (Lyle) of Billings; mother-in-law, Iva Waldo (Wayne) of Glendive; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Haidle (Irvin) of Billings, LaVonne Hoffer (Delbert) of Fallon, Sandi Waldo of Bozeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Son’s Funeral Home in Terry. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fallon Evangelical Church in Fallon. Condolences can be made to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
