Agnes was born December 23, 1926, in Poplar, to Joseph and Anna (Richard) Bailly. She went to a country school near Riverside, Mont., through the eighth grade. On August 28, 1951, Agnes married Herbert Brown, and to this union six children were born; Mary, Charles, Robert (stillborn), Lenora, Jim and Lanette.
Agnes was proud to be a wife, mother and grandmother; her family meant the world to her. She and Herb just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on August 28, 2016, and it turned into an amazing day. She was a fantastic cook and made the best cinnamon and caramel rolls. Agnes’ chicken & dumplings were the favorite at our family gatherings. She enjoyed cross-stitching, and made beautiful wall hangings and ornaments. She was a member of the Altar Society for St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Richey.
Agnes is preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Brown; granddaughter, Bailly Brown; brothers, Jullian, George and Albert Bailly; and sisters, Marguerite Lemieux and Magdalene Losinski.
Agnes is survived by her husband, Herb Brown; children, Mary (Scott) Clark of Billings, Charles (Margaret) Brown of Miles City, Lenora (Darren) Limesand of Bowman, N.D., Jim (Lacee) Brown of Richey, and Lanette (Rondel) Beery of Richey; brothers, Ernest (Mary) Bailly of Great Falls, and Leon (Irene) Bailly of Spokane, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Barb Bailly of Billings and Helen Bailly of Great Falls; grandchildren, Ryan (Kendra) Clark of Bismarck, Joe (Mary) Clark of Billings, Gregg (Cassie) Clark of Miles City, Tyrel Brown of Medora, N.D., Conner Brown of Miles City, Dayln Limesand of Minneapolis, Minn., Rylan Limesand of Grand Forks, N.D., Kadyn Limesand of Grand Forks, N.D., Taylor Brown of Bozeman, Kyler Brown of Richey, Danielle (Seth) Servais of Richey, and David Beery of Richey; and great-grandchildren, Camryn, Maclayn, Quinn, Kaleb, Maya, Ella and Rylee Clark.
