Yvonne (Eyer) McGrane, age 92, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Glendive Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Glendive Evangelical Church with Pastor John Bole officiating. A private family interment will be in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Yvonne was born on October 13, 1923 in Glendive to F.A. “Jeff” and Lucille (Robinson) Eyer. She received her education in Glendive graduating from Dawson County High School in 1940.
She married G.E. “Eddie” McGrane on July 25, 1942 in Spokane, Wash.
She was a Past Matron of Yellowstone Chapter #5 Order of Eastern Star and Past President of Chapter A P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie; one brother, Bill Eyer; and one grandson, Sean McGrane.
Yvonne is survived by two sons, Bill (DeeDee) of Ventura, Calif., and Jim and his wife Susan of Helena; two daughters, Linda Heinrich and her husband Claire of Glendive, and Marsha Fitterer and her husband David of Minot, N.D.; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Yvonne’s name are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
